Visit to Israel

In my dream today, I visited Israel to see for myself how this tiny nation achieved everything “Miracle”: Economic miracle, Entrepreneurial miracle, Military miracle, Innovation miracle and Technology miracle within a short period of time, no country on earth ever did that.

Upon my arrival, I went sightseeing to see various developmental and technological advancements of the country.

In real life, I reside close to a General Hospital here in my hometown, I happen to spent my formative and childhood years inside the Hospital. So that hospital exactly appeared to me in Israel- I saw it. What captures my total attention about the hospital was how it practically, structurally and physically changed. I had seen the hospital turned to absolute fascinating green vegetation: thousands of fruit trees were planted –mangoes, banana, apples and all that stuff.

Structural restructuring occurred, different facilities had been changed and the most important which I’d seen was the way children were giving absolute support by their parents and government to “innovate and create”. I saw a teen-age boy tilting a soil with a new tool which I’ve never seen before– maybe it was invented by him.

After my sudden wake up from the middle of my dream, I began to reconcile my conscious and unconscious thoughts. I started to think of how that small country achieved its great success within that short span. First, backing and support of foreign major powers came to my mind of course. Second, visionary leadership and good governance followed. Third, imbibing innovation and creativity spirit to citizens.

In the three major factors I mentioned above I intentionally left out formal education, you know why? You can have a better education when your government provides you with an accessible good Library than a person who attended formal schools. What solidified this point was how the great innovators of human history didn’t attend any formal school. (read: Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, Bill Gates et cetera). I don’t want to sound controversial, but I’m not in any way discouraging formal education. Anyway, this is a topic for another day.

In my conscious thoughts, I thought of how the real General Hospital didn’t change for almost twenty years. Even the Panadol extra and Paracetamol we used when we were young was the same thing they use today. Women are dying while given birth, children are also dying due to outdated and poor-running equipments.

An imaginary conversation between 'yan tasha and Atlanta professor!

If you remove the title “Associate professor” from that man that is hiding in Atlanta, there’s no any difference between him and physical thugs you see in your towns who abuse everybody and respect nobody.
The only difference between ‘dan tasha’ who can have PhD in disrespect, insults, and abuses if there’s one and that ‘professor’ who writes from Atlanta is that one disguises himself to be intellectually superior to one, and boast that he has a PhD which the lack, and he usually reminds them that is academically licensed and qualified to throw pungent insults at everyone in the name of constructive criticism.
He intimidates them and displays his ‘outstanding graduating student’ who topped his class and again intimidate them with his pinned MSc, PhD from the least ranking universities at ‘abroad’, in far away the United States of America. The country which in the little knowledge they have they see everybody as superhuman, intellectually composed and can do what they cannot.
When they visit his Twitter profile they’ll be utterly afraid to dare challenge his constant and arrant frivolity because they’ve seen pinned and attached PhD to his name and they have huge respect for those who attained the height of PhD. Why? Because there’s a sense in which they expect to see some difference between a local man and the one who achieved academic excellence and was finally rewarded PhD. But sadly they don’t know that not everybody that has PhD is educated some are just credentialed!
Some of them always try to object his trifle and excessive boring vitriol but they are reminded that they are not qualified to do so cos they are unable to write error-less English, with that they are ruled and relegated to an ignorant and unintelligent class that have nothing to offer.
If they try to enter the house through the window since they are blocked from entering through the door. I mean if they try to return the insults he constantly and repeatedly throws at them, he tells them he’s the only one that is permitted and licensed to insult. He will add in their souvenir suitcase some kind of insults which they have never heard in all the years they have lived.
When they mulled and discussed that in their entire life they haven’t seen a “Professor” who throw insults anyway anyhow and who has insults at the top valued merchandise he trades with, and who revere and admire insults words and use them in the blink of an eye, they’re told that he’s a wordsmith and grammarian and moreover and most importantly the words he uses are English words, the effect is different when you use the words in Hausa Language!

The lawmakers I don't want to see their foot never again at the Senate in the coming general elections are:

1. Dino Melaye - the senator always ranting on the floor of the Senate without making any impactful contribution to his constituents who elected him, his Yahaya Bello's phobia has bottlenecked his propitious little projects he does. What he fits best is drama or comedy, he should go back to continue dancing and singing the song he co-produced.
2. Isah Misau Bauchi - you can't even begin to comprehend how the senator finds himself in the upper chamber. The man doesn't totally understand what politics and representing people is all about, you cannot see the man contributing his thoughts during debates of national importance, what he is very good at is presenting his personal never-ending vendetta against the IG of police and his intense cabalistic syndrome at the Senate during sessions. You can just conclude the man is amongst the people who enter politics to make money not to represent their people.
3. Shehu Sani - the easiest way for the senator to lose his senatorial seat is to gamble his seat for that of Governor Elrufa'i. Even though I like the twitter senator because he contributes a lot to debates at the Senate but he performs below average to the people of his constituency.
His abiding fighting with Malam Nasir Elrufa'i has made his presence at the Senate inconsequential. The things you'll see every day related to the senator is his ambitions of unseating the governor of his state and mostly his satirical and metaphorical jabberwocky - not youth and women empowerment from the senator, boreholes drills or adding two-classroom blocks to an existing school in spite of the allotted constituency projects allowances and the 13 million running cost that the senator whistle-blown a few months ago. The only thing I have seen the senator did with that scandalous huge amount of money was distributing radio sets to his people as empowerment. Na your akata accent they go chop?
4. All those old-cargo politicians that have little to nothing to offer, recycled former governors that seek refuge at the Senate to prevent their prosecution and the senators that hold us ransom since the returning of our democracy who do nothing but to sleep and warm seats, when the budget time comes the only thing they specialise on is ramping up their budget to suit their financial greed, their ideas are obsolete and analogue in this fast-changing digital world, we need to see new faces with fresh ideas.

Politics and Apostasy: Two Case Study

1. He was raised as a Muslim, his parents were Muslims, his colleagues and friends were all Muslims, he himself was a Muslim, but due to the love of 'Dunya' and some temporary worldly pleasures he reverts to Christianity, they finally renounced their Islam he and his wife!
He became apostate just to seek for a political seat, and he finally clinched on to the seat and became His Excellency Executive Governor of Taraba State.
God gave him enormous opulence and helm of a great state, he's now reached the pinnacle of success, but God precludes to enjoy the pleasure of it.
He used his dominion and treated his previous fellow Muslim colleagues with the tyrannical ferocious rule, he has no pity whatsoever to Muslims in the state.
Alhamdulillah! Our God has so many ways to trap son of Adam. Suddenly after his re-election for the second term, he had a plane crash, which causes brain damage as a result. His life became on the verge of death, but God didn't take his life, he let him stay almost 5 years, he suffered a lot, melancholy bedeviled his feelings and emotions, he couldn't walk and he was walking on a cripples bicycle, he couldn't eat and urinate by himself until with the aid of guardians. In facts; his health is incorrigible.
He lost the power he was proud up and almost all the fortunes he owns. and now he's dead.
2.This is another story of an honorable Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria almost the same with the previous one.
She is a three times member House of Representative, Two terms represented Kaduna South and One term represented Adamawa North.
Her parents were all Muslims including herself before she steps into politics. The area she was living at the time majority of the inhabitants were and still Christians, So Muslim contestant in the area has at least 95% chance of failure because the majority of the voters won't vote Muslim to represent them, That's why she became apostate just to win, and she won. Subhanallah!
She's now the Senator of Adamawa Senatorial District.
May Allah guide her to the right path, If she cannot be guided may Allah thrust her ending like the Death of Danbaba Danfulani Suntai Former Governor of Taraba State.
This is a life's lessons to ponder and heed its lessons.
Salim.
